The kit that I used was the Academy  1:48 AH-64D Longbow. The assembly was tricky at some stages of the build. These areas included the "Gun assembly" and "open canopy" option. The kit comes with different weapons for 3 different build options.

The colour scheme was easy, olive drab all over. The decal sheet I used was one from TwoBobs. Sheet number 48-085. This sheet comes with 3 variations of the Apache used in Iraq in 2004. The one that I chose was 1st Cav, 1st Battalion 227th Avn Regiment, A Company Ford Hood, Texas.
