The kit used is the Revell Boston III. Kit number 04345. This kit is one of the few kit in the world that comes with SAAF decals. Scale 1:72. The plane was build straight out of the box with the SAAF decals. The specific aircraft was part of 24 Sqdn. based at Souk-el-khemis, Tunisia, North Africa, April 1943

The colour scheme used is a camo pattern of khaki brown and ochre. The underside was painted light green. The decals were supplied with the kit and they were from 24 Sqdn. based at Souk-el-khemis, Tunisia, North Africa

The kit is very old and when I got it from a friend the instruction sheet was already yellow. The kit in general was hard to build because of bad fitment between parts. This was typical of a old Revell kit. Decals had a lot of silvering.
