This was an interesting those to build. The Dauphin was not really part if the SAAF. The SAAF took one over from the ex Bophuthatswana president Lucas Mangope and incorporated it in to 17 Sqn in 1994 . This copper is used for VIP purposes.

Kit used is the Revell SA365 Dauphin, kit no. 04467

The chopper is painted all over white with a dark blue centre line and two light blue lines above and below the dark blue one.

The cockpit is aircraft interior black and the windows were tinted with Tamiya smoke.

The kit was easy to build and and the only little thing to watch out for is the soft Revell plastic. The painting of the blue areas was also a problem for me.
