The kit used is a 1/48 Academy F-14A kit from the early 90's. Kit number 1659. Hard to believe this kit was rated "Kit of the year"

Part fitment not the greatest especially the wing assembly. A lot of filler needed for the two fuselage halves to not show seam lines.

The decals of the kit is for the standard grey colour scheme. I decided to use the TwoBobs decals set "Sandbox Alley Cats"
