Like almost all Tamiya kits this was a great kit to build. I originally decided to do this model because of the colour. This kit is the Tamiya Ford Focus RS WRC 2002 kit. No. 24261. The kit parts fits perfect and almost no filler needed. The only strange thing about the kit is the wheels.

On the box they show the thin narrow spoke wheels but in the box you only get the five spoke wheels. I looked at some reference pictures and car "6" (one of the options you can building) did have the narrow spoke for the rally they supplied decals for.

Yes this was the reason why I bought the kit. The instruction sheet says one must use TS51 (Racing Blue), but I had other ideas.

I had some Avos blue left from my  F1 BMW FW24 car. This is a automotive paint that I got from the BMW agents in town. To me this was the perfect colour for this car.

Not much to says except that this was another Tamiya master piece. Also if you do not like decals, stay away form this kit.
