The kit a Douglas DC-4/C-54 Skymaster 1/72 was made by a French company called Mach2. The kit's reference number is GP.34

The fitting of part on this kit was some of the worst I've ever seen. The engine cowlings do not fit and a lot of filler and sanding is needed to get a better result. The two fuselage half's were also a nightmare to fit.

The only good fits were the front and back wings.

The instruction sheet is a double sided page that shows you in pictures diagrams were all part fit.

Decals is box not used.

The model was painted in the standard SAAF camo colours. ModelMaster "Dark Earth" and Humbrol  "Olive Drab" (155).

Underside was painted Humbrol "Matt Aircraft Blue" (65)

Decals were custom printed by MAVDecals
